First experiments with Vue 8 and its nice new recursive strata filter. This is probably the best I've managed so far with it.

Sorry about the planet-rise - bit of an overdone kind of image.

Only the terrain on the far left looks not-tilted like the rest, otherwis eits a very interesting and pretty realistic terrain, and at least some people know how to "phase" their planets properly in relation to the light direction too :clap:...too often I see otherwise nice Vue scenes spoiled by the careless use of planets :crying:

Heh, yes, I've seen some planet/moon-rise type pics that break the laws of physics too.

It's a single procedural terrain with strata direction parameters offset with a little turbulence and noise. The possibilities are endless (and this is where my weekend went - playing with numbers (and failing to get anything interesting more often than not) - still, I find it strangely addictive:confused::slamhead:....
